i usually find myself switching back and forth between gain and normal mode. recently even i start doing it when i am using my IEM.   which is more optimal lower volume in Gain mode vs. a bit higher volume in normal mode.  my knob indicates via gain  0400 clock when i use normal it s on 0600...
