    Woo Audio WA8 Review - Head-Fi TV

I have been looking for a transportable tube option for a little while now and recently decided to go with the WA8. One of my favorite headphones is the ZMF Caldera (open). Anyone here using these two together? Any pad recommendations for a good match? Really looking forward to checking out...

ZMF Caldera - New Planar Magnetic from ZMF!

Wow, thanks to everyone for the great replies! Rather than trying to respond to each individual specifically I will just make a general reply here. I definitely recognize the importance of the source chain but I have never had headphones get fatiguing off the the equipment I am using right now...

ZMF Caldera - New Planar Magnetic from ZMF!

It's been about 2 weeks since I got my redwood burl Caldera and it's been a bit of a bumpy ride so far. The highlights are so good that I find myself going from track to track late into the night but to my ear the treble is just a bit too peaky with the stock pads. It is just enough that I...

    ampsandsound (aka Amps & Sound)

I recently got another amp for the 2 channel side of my system (something solid state) to complement the Nautlius and it has been awesome so far. What hasn't been awesome is needing to switch speaker connections manually every time I want to change it up. Does anyone here know of a high...

Wow, I just tried this and the difference is noticeable! I will definitely be going this route from now on. On a related note, is there much difference between a standard Nautilus with the volume at 100% and the version you mention without a volume control?

Thanks for the awesome reply! Fortunately I have some 7581As and Gold Lion KT66s on hand. I don't think I have any 12AT7s but even the NOS recommendations you made are pretty reasonable in price so I will have to pick one up and try it out :)

ZMF Caldera - New Planar Magnetic from ZMF!

Thanks for the reply! That's good to hear since they are included. I chose the stock suede as the second pair figuring that would be the biggest contrast to help make an informed decision if I decide to order more. Any thoughts on cables? Do you use stock for that too?

Hi All. I just ordered a ZMF Caldera and will be using it primarily with my Nautilus. Anyone here running Caldera on the Nautilus with recommendations on tubes?

Plug headphones into iFi audio GO link for supercharged sound!

I recently went on a trip where space was at a premium and I didn't want to bring any gear that I would miss if it got lost/damaged/stolen so I decided to buy some affordable portable gear. I ended up with the Moondrop Aria + iFi Go Link and all I can say is WOW! Affordable and convenient gear...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I know that in the audio hobby this is a niche thing but I use my IEMs for music AND playing games so latency matters to me. Slight audio delay in games really annoys me and reduced latency bluetooth codecs are not well supported across devices so it's still wired for me all the way.

Plug headphones into iFi audio GO link for supercharged sound!

It isn't listed on Roon's website but it works for me. I don't use any special settings, after I plug it in to my PC or phone it shows up as "iFi USB Audio SE" to be enabled in Roon:

I can confirm they work very well in the Nautilus. Definitely one of my favorites.

I use one with my Nautilus along with a pair of Klipsch r-51m and I love it. The room is small (about 14X14) so the size is perfect and once dialed in it sounds great. I would definitely recommend it to anyone primarily listening to music (it wouldn't be up to proper home theater tasks).

Not yet. There is a chance I will get my hands on something from Woo Audio sometime this year but that isn't settled. If that materializes and I have anything useful to share I will give an update.
