Just ordered one of these, how does it feel in the pocket and is there enough room to say fit a pair of IEM's or a small cable in the top section?

Anyone using a carrying case/bag for their SP? I kind if want a felt or similar carry case. Despite having having the leather shell and screen protector I feel I need some sort of carry case as well.

It would seem that the SP1000 doesn't charge while being used as a dac with a laptop despite the laptop being plugged in. Either that or something is messed up somewhere. On another note the SP has some damn good battery life.

I ended up fixing most of what I wanted to. It still baffles me why people name music files with a bunch of underscores, brackets and three digit numbers it just makes everything much more difficult, thank god for Yate. Android files transfer is beyond trash, Commander one has been pretty good...

Sat down to finally organize my music collection on the SP, names, albums, proper artists and after looking at all my music which takes up all of one 400gb SD card and the storage on the AK with little more than a GB free between the two I realized I just don't care that much. Maybe another day.

I use this exact set up. Plug the SP into your MBP, swipe down the menu on the SP and change the USB mode, just hit the circle. In OSX click the volume icon in the menu bar and ensure the audio output is set to SP1000 and you're done.If you want to take it a step further you can open the midi...

I was never really a fan of streaming services it was always "what if you're in an area with no service" although my job requires that I go out to sea for extended periods of time so streaming was never really an option for me. I hope you can find something that fits your needs.

This device is absolutely fantastic as well as the T1P. I've always used IEMS and closed back and going to a semi open everything just sounds different I can't describe it but I've really been missing out. I was questioning if maybe it wasn't the best choice to drop so much on a new set up but...
