Bluewave Audio Get - Bluetooth 5.0 AptX HD 24 bit amp/DAC
Just got my Earstudio's today. Doing this comparison on a pair of Shure SE846. Using the regular 3.5mm jack, they sound very similar to the Get's, in that they both sound very good for unbalanced output. The Get has abit of boosted bass, while the Earstudio's have abit boosted high's. The AK...- Mikol1011

Bluewave Audio Get - Bluetooth 5.0 AptX HD 24 bit amp/DAC
I backed the earstudio as well. Not sure how it'll sound, but it definitely looks promising, and the addition of balanced is just gravy. Once I get that I'll add comparisons as well.- Mikol1011

Bluewave Audio Get - Bluetooth 5.0 AptX HD 24 bit amp/DAC
So I just got my 2x Bluewave Get's today. I also have the Astell&Kern XB10's as well. And if I didn't hear the XB10, I would've thought the bluewave's were top notch. They're still one of the best bluetooth receiver's out there, and for the price, they're a steal compared to the XB10, but the...- Mikol1011

Massdrop x Noble X Universal IEMs Review / Preview
oh my god, savants(or most likely sage's) at $250 is an absolute steal... Definitely gonna get this even though I already have the K10's and Savants! Edit: just noticed they offer a lightning cable. Would they be able to do a type c cable as well? Cause I'd jump on that in a heartbeat...- Mikol1011

TRINITY - PHANTOM Series - New thread + WORLDS FIRST PUSH PULL HYBRID IEM!*
Yeah the trinity IEMs use the 0.75mm pins that UE uses. I cut the plastic overmold off of a pair of the trinity cables that came with my sabre's and the pins just slip out of my CIEMs; they're too small/loose unfortunately. (was testing to see if I could buy some BT lanyards for a few of my...- Mikol1011

TRINITY - PHANTOM Series - New thread + WORLDS FIRST PUSH PULL HYBRID IEM!*
That's absolutely awesome! Thanks! The plastic shielding that covers the 2 pins, is it a sort of rubber or hard plastic?- Mikol1011

TRINITY - PHANTOM Series - New thread + WORLDS FIRST PUSH PULL HYBRID IEM!*
Hey bob, are those 2-pin connectors compatible with CIEMs/CIEM cables? Obviously I'd have to strip away the plastic shielding from the cable connector, but is the pin size the same? I'm curious as I'd like to purchase both your toxic cable variant as well as the bluetooth cables for some of my...- Mikol1011

"Ear Kegs" - MusicMaker Phantom III / Shockwave III appreciation & impressions
I have the delta's, which are great, but are also abit different from the shockwaves. Also V shaped IEMS, but the bass doesnt have the same quantity as the S3, and doesn't reach as deep as the shockwaves, with more mid-bass bloat if you choose the grey filters. If you get the gold filters, they...- Mikol1011

"Ear Kegs" - MusicMaker Phantom III / Shockwave III appreciation & impressions
Haha not likely in the near future at the very least. I've got virtually no free time unfortunately, which is why I rarely post here haha. If I were to review it, it'd have to be after my noble K10's; those were the only earphones that literally made me awe in amazement, the sound is...- Mikol1011

"Ear Kegs" - MusicMaker Phantom III / Shockwave III appreciation & impressions
For home use I'm using the Schiit Lyr; the slight tube-ness to the sound helps me smooth over that spike abit. For on the go, specifically with the SW3 I like the Shozy Lancea with the Headamp Pico Slim; the pico slim simply to help me deal with the volume since it's a very transparent amp, but...- Mikol1011

"Ear Kegs" - MusicMaker Phantom III / Shockwave III appreciation & impressions
Speaking as someone who has the P1, SW3, SW3 is a better crowd pleaser than the P1, but they both have their place. For a quick comparison between the 2: Bass: SW3 has far more bass presence than the P1. It reaches deeper without significant mid-bass bloat, it's actually pretty nice and...- Mikol1011
