Lol if it was in the same price range i would think about it. But 3k is just way to high of a cost for anything that isn't a motorcycle or a full PC build lol

I am on the fence between the M11 and the Ibasso DX220. I know the CPU and interface looks better on the FIIO but i feel that the DX220 with the AMP8 module is about as close to desktop quality sound you can get for the price. But for the price you can buy the M11 and the Q5s with the THX module.

Dang that is a real bummer, i guess i will be waiting for the Fiio BTR5 that they announced in china. Should be a upgrade to my EarStudio ES100.

I found some info on a Chinese website that i wanted to confirm. The UP2 will not have 2.5mm balanced??? Also it only goes up to 24bit 96khz correct???

The M11 does look nice indeed. But i am waiting for the Q5s with the THX module. I don't need another screen to have to interact with lol Hell after buying the EarStudio ES100 i have to say just using ldac over bluetooth has spoiled me. lol

I have the DMG right now which has filters and i have to say i don't really like it. The filters don't stay attached firmly and i feel like i have to always make sure that they are screwed on tightly

I would say that the FH7 looks to be an improvement to the FA7 and has more versatility with its changeable filters .

The announcement for the pending release was in march but the message that came today at 4:25am announcing available at aliexpress is what i was talking about. Here i was thinking we would have to wait until midway June to get our grubby hands on the FH7.

Of course Fiio announces this litterally a few hours after i pre order the IMR R2 Aten. And of course they both come out at 460 lol

The M5 is a mini dap where the BTR5 is more simple without the display.

I was able to find that teaser video on a Asian site. Hmmm i wonder if it will be a more modern dac like the AK4490 or AK4493. I plan on buying the FiiO Q5s when they release it and their new FH7. Might have to see what this new BTR5 is about when they finally release it.
