@nmatheis good it worked with the clip location. I like the sound sig of the 99 classics but one thing i noticed is the headband it feels like its pulling my upper part of my head as my head is normal in size. Maybe the headband is a bit short.

Planning to buy a portable slim amp to stack with my zx-100. Any suggestion about brand and price? My budget is around usd200-300. Currently I'm using a ciem for daily commute. 

I'm really not that impressed by the sound of their products and I don't know why maybe it depends from the listener, however their workmanship are great though. I still prefer the other name in ciem industry which is also made in sg.

I just want to ask about my zx-100's firmware. As of the moment I haven't updated it yet since the first time I used it, now when I tried to upgrade the FW to 1.11 I cannot make the procedure and nothing happens when I followed the correct instruction. Any advise from the experts of this player?

Is there a delete function to this player I cannot find it? :grin:

i asked the sony support guy and told me that to achieve the 70hrs period i must only play 128kbps tracks. Now on my normal listening time i think its fairly enough to achieved 50hrs mark.

Those other players keep following the AK-ish trend and wanted to expose the volume knob as it can be easily hit inside the bag / pants. 

I tested the device during midnight as I'm still in the burning  process and using the minimal input volume as possible. DSEE and Clear audio was turned off and only played MP3 track files. Screen display set to dimmest setting.  26 hours of playing and right now there's only one bar left.​

It was described to play up to 70hrs but in reality it can only last for 40-50hrs playing low res files.

Bought an iphone 6+ screen protector and cut according to it screen size. No bubbles, hassle free. I bought it for Usd1.50 from Daiso. 

Please help me to move on.

Its very expensive for a piece of plastic and of course additional profit for Sony =). I'll try to DYI my screen protector.

Quick question. Do I need to charge the device for 8 hrs initial charging?
