Beats by Dre question...
Quote: Superior? They cost three times the price! Sound quality is better on the M50 and M80 imo. Try comparing beats pro to other headphones in their price range, they get slaughtered.- Mestys

V-MODA M100 good for gaming?
Quote: Disagree, the M80s at least are audiophile quality, in fact V-Moda intended for them to be targeted towards the audiophile community, and they did a very good job may I add.- Mestys

Beats by Dre question...
That's the reason, they're expensive and the actual sound quality you're getting is not even close to the value of the headphones. You're paying for marketing/style and a big B on side of the cups.- Mestys

Crack + Speedball vs. Lyr
Yes agreed. Can't wait for your comparison with the Lyr. I understand both are fantastic pairings with the HD650, I would imagine the final conclusion would come down to preference with neither being superior to the other.- Mestys

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
Quote: Tune!! I've been thinking about purchasing some Dt880's to pair with my HD650s. Do you think they compliment each other quite well? I've heard that the mids are a bit withdrawn but they have a lot more sparkle than the HD650s?- Mestys

DAC to Pair With HD650 + Crack OTL
Thanks for the replys, all recommendations so far look pretty good, I'll have to do some research but the Audio-GD looks interesting. I have considered the HRT II and that bushmaster looks like excellent value for money! Ah! decisions decisions..- Mestys

should I purchase headphones for my iPhone 5?
Quote: +1 I have used the m80s straight from my iPhone many times and they sound excellent. I have recently purchased an e7. that provides a bit of extra bass but not necessary at all to enjoy the m80s. Also the m80s are built like a tank, very stylish perfect for portable use. Highly...- Mestys
