Jambo DAC
The Jambo DAC and AMBs gamma 2 use the same wolfson dac chip. If the gamma 2 supports a higher rate then the Jambo DAC should also. I have built two Jambo DACs and think they are fantastic but it is a very complex build so maybe not the best candidate for a first DIY project.- Mercator

Which amp to build for use with HD650

Best DIY DAC for the Beta22?
One more to add to your list. I have been using the Jambo DAC with my Beta 22. (do a search on head fi for the design and build threads) It sounds very nice, though I don't have experience with other dacs to compare it to.
