Audio Technica updates their open headphones "AD" Series: AD2000x, AD1000x, AD900x, AD700x and AD500x

The thing is though, I never found much difference in SQ between ad700 and ad900. Justification for purchasing ad900 was difference in build quality for me. But ad700x and ad900x look identical and made of same material(?) Can some one confirm this? If so, ad700x might be a better purchase. Or...

If it does have metallic body, I think it's worth the purchase just for the angled drivers.

AD1000x and AD2000x says magnesium frame in their descriptions, which leads me to believe ad900x and below are plastic (1000x and 2000x look metallic in the pics as well). These two also have metal jacks instead of plastic ones. I...

I am interested in build quality of ad900x. they seemed to have switched the connector to plastic from metal one. whhhhhy. Is the chassis still magnesium like ad900? I can't tell from the pictures. Not worth the buy if it's made of plastic imo. Just get ad900. also, how's the cable...

    Connecting PC to a receiver

Hi, I am new here. I have a question regarding how to set up a receiver to a computer. I got a 10 year old mini stereo system(XR-p970f) that's just lying around, which only has RCA in, and xonar dg for a sound card. What would be the best way to connect these? SPDIF or analog to RCA...
