HiBy R6 2020 User Impressions
I've had my R6 2020 for several weeks now. For most of my listening sessions it is mated to the 7hz Timeless. That is a heavenly combination. The pro's are too numerous to list. I know sound is subjective but the R6 is velvety smooth and lush to my ears. A clear upgrade in all aspects to my Hiby...- Mellymelsr

I agree there should be a some skepticism toward a new company making a new product under a proven name. They certainly have to earn that.- Mellymelsr

Now I'm the one who is inappropriate? Really? I've been everything but that. Moving on from you. Don't need a troll in my life. Carry on if you wish.- Mellymelsr

I've already moved on. I was referring to "healthy skepticism" that you quoted following the "astro turf" and "marketing material" comment by the other gentleman. So do those two comments paint a positive picture to you? No they don't. So for you to follow that up with "healthy skepticism"...- Mellymelsr

The second portion of your comment was absolutely fine. You should have started with a positive message not a negative one. That's my only point. I appreciate the discussion. We have both said our peace. I'm fine with moving forward.- Mellymelsr

Thank you GearMe. And to Mr soundstige it absolutely felt like a call out. Do me a favor and imagine if someone did the same to you. Would you feel welcomed or be inclined to ever offer up an opinion? Most new members would quietly leave. Thankfully I'm not built that way.- Mellymelsr

I have to disagree with the "healthy skepticism". I am a member of many forums that discuss several different formats of audio. New members offering up an opinion on a $49 item aren't generally met with comments like "astro turf" or "marketing ploy". They are welcomed and watched by senior...- Mellymelsr

"Astro turf is fake grass"...I must admit I got a good laugh from that one Captain Obvious. Appreciate you gentlemen answering my questions. I look forward to further discussions.- Mellymelsr

If my impressions seem strong, I will take that as a compliment to my description. As I stated in my earlier comment I may be new to this site but I am not new to high fidelity or audiophile equipment. I've been a "lurker" of this site for many years. Using the reviews on this site to acquire...- Mellymelsr

I see. Well I am certainly no paid endorser. I wasn't aware this was an issue with your site. I'm just a music lover that enjoys finding affordable audiophile gear. I will do my best to learn the ropes here. I'm old school. I simply tell it like it is. No fluff.- Mellymelsr

I hope I don't give the impression that I'm looking for corroboration, I'm not, I was only sharing my opinion. Hope there was some light shed on a budget IEM.- Mellymelsr
