Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

Rob, I thank you for your work on musical DACs, for instance I find your crossover function in my H2 fantastic. Maybe, aside from marketing and strategy concerns, you can give some future directions: Are there plans to produce a portable Hugo X Scaler in the foreseeable future? Is the circuit...

I had the same problem with one version of iOS. The next iOS update fixed that problem.

For me chord is the difference of being able to listen to music or not being able to listen to digital recordings. Is that worth thousands of dollars, in general it is difficult to say.

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

I didn’t care much about introduction of HTT2, but the combination HMS&HTT2 is just great. For me the real deal begins when it will become portable, even though I like Rob Watts’ kind of portable setup using HMS&H2 with a battery.

I think Chord serves a real need and struck a chord with music enthusiasts. The challenge is that chord is not cheap at all and there are no comparable competitors so far. Blaming chord for being able to offer better devices for a lower price to serve more people is ridiculous, even though...

It does. H2 manual: Coax 2 configuration = Ring and sleeve. The 3.5mm digital coaxial jack input supports ‘dual data mode’, where 768kHz files can be input as two separate 384kHz data streams

I hope for a soonish arrival of Artix 8 to save Rob Watts some weight on his travels, currently a H2+HMS and a portable battery bank in a backpack [25:55 & 29:50], which I like a lot, to develope a future Hugo2 512K Scaler Extension some day. Congratulations on lunching HMS.

HTT2 (4k) + HMS (3.5k) completes Dave, interesting both, technologically (Rob) and as a marketing move (John).

Rob Watts describes using the HMS with a portable battery bank and a Hugo 2 in a backpack [25:55]. I like that.

Here I like technical advancements, because it makes things possible not doable before. The HMS opens up hope for a portable HMS 2 at some point, that includes a huge audience, which is fantastic news.
