I have both - TF10 are superior although X10 are much more comfy and stylish. If eBay wasn't so annoying I'd sell my X10.

Ok - thanks. I sold a pair of TF10 recently for $150 - not sure if that's a good price. It's hard to price these as I've been out of the head-fi loop for a while. What were the TF10s selling for? i dont own an amp so can't give a comparison but the image x10s sound great unamped.

i listen to a wide range of music and the x10s sound good to me no matter what. of course the strength in bass will shine with electronic/house, rock, hip hop etc. im in the same boat as mosi, if the bass is lacking, i feel like im a spectator to the music instead of being immersed in it.

cx300 no question. slept with these on many times. and great on the plane to block noise when you cant run your electronics...just leave em in. image x10 protrude a bit so sleeping with them would be tough. in general just find something that doesnt protrude and youll be fine.

if you like the cx300 sound you'll love the klipsch image x10. having said that...its up to you to decide if its $180 better than the cx300...
