I dont know. I think it depends on how hard is it to remove those connecters from the frame. The rest of the process should be the same, and it's not hard at all.- maxim-msc

I've changed them by myself (big thanks to AT Khan for sharing his experience). Didn't like the original detachable version because it has very bulky connectors, so i decided to order fixed cable version and mod them by myself. Very pleased with the result btw.- maxim-msc

It's also interesting how will Brainwavz Sheepskin Round pads perform. Massdrop Fostex TH-X00 Ebony impressions thread
Guys, has anyone tried MrSpeakers Ether Flow Angled pads with ebonies? I've heard some positive impressions about them from E-MU Teak owner. He claims that they are improving midrange, while slightly reducing bass and keeping treble on the same level.- maxim-msc
