Arguably, decay is one of the best things about R01, being very close to natural, without cutting off the overall timbre details. However, if you do not like such decay, try switching to fast roll-off filter setting.

Have to disagree on that. UAPP sounds flawlessly on all my DAPs and phones, including N6II, provided it is set up properly and bit-perfect sound through hi-res driver is enabled. At least this is true in regards to lossless non-streaming tracks.

Try changing the cable on your IEMs. I've got the same issue on my E01 with one of the cables. Looks like it has something to do with radio interference or similar.
