I have listen that the best japanese audio companies (for in ear) are: zero audio, final audio, fit ear. The best thing with neutral or u shape iem is that you can hear the nature of the dap and well.... The music itself ;). Etymotic have good alternatives too, like the er3x, the sr4 and etc

Yeah, those mids are great but sometimes are thin sounding and dry. For the price range i prefer the e2000 (is more mature) but the e3000 seems for me too boomy in some songs. It depends. In this models they use the same driver, different sound and materials.
