Hi guys, I’ve been really enjoying the 339i what a great amp, I decided to try the pre outs into a few different ss Amps with my he-500’s but I’m getting a loud buzzing from the pre outs, I’ve changed power cables/power sockets ect and s also different sources, any thoughts on what it might be...- Martinoslice

Yes I think you’re right, I was planning to have it turned up full and use the volume on my jolida dac, Then I tried it with my dragonfly and I only needed the volume up 1/4 to get decent volume into my he-500’s, great news 🙂 now I’ve ordered some new valves (Mullard 6080) and some yellow...- Martinoslice

Hi guys, I decided to pick up a black 339i after reading through this thread, it arrived today but unfortunately when the volume reaches the halfway point it starts to hum on both channels getting louder as I turn up the volume, and the chassis gets really hot almost too hot to touch, it came...- Martinoslice

Bowers&Wilkins new flagship the P9!
Hi Guys, I’ve just picked these up used on amazon for £299, I’ve checked the back of the ear cups and the top of the headband for plastic instead of leather to rule out a Knock off, but it’s kinda hard to tell as if it’s leather it’s very hard, also they’re very microphonic when I touch any part...- Martinoslice

Srd-7sb mkii mod help
Hi guys, does anyone know of someone (preferably in the Uk) who could mod one of these for me, I’m wanting to bypass the front switch and connect to the speaker taps at the back, doing away with the cable. I’m fine at soldering but I can’t figure out where some of the wire is suppose to go...- Martinoslice

Hi Oregonian, I’m using a similar setup as yourself running from the speaker taps from a paramount Zamp V2, are you using a resistor type box from the taps or are you using special cables coming straight from the speaker taps. Cheers Marty.- Martinoslice
