This is false, the guys spend a lot of time writing their reviews manually and we have done so for 15 years. To each to their own, if you dont like Louis's style no worries but to claim it is Ai is completely untrue.- marcusd

Introducing ONIX Mystic XP1 – High-End Portable DAC/AMP
Words alone also make me tired from writing lol :) What I will probably do when I finish the D16 review is add an addendum on the PB5 matchup and post it here instead as ONIX might claim it unfair for being in the review since you could stack with their higher-end amps with the XP1 also and...- marcusd

The D16/PB5 stack would be a lot more expensive though than an XP1 alone? Maybe 40% more and for that additional I would expect a better performance. I get the curiosity on the DC match-up though from a purely observational experience.- marcusd

The recession is circular. It's beefier on the lows compared to the H7.- marcusd

From what I know, the BT chipset is now Qualcomm BT rather than the older DX160 Rockchip version so it should perform better for latency.- marcusd

I still see a lot of support for MQA-CDs in the Asian hifi markets, though never personally encountered one.- marcusd

Officially no MQA support, hence MQA in TIDAL. I have been informed by iBasso that it will handle MQA via TIDAL in the app if required. Will tighten that up so no misunderstandings. For BT transmission I said the three codecs tested were LDAC, SBC, and AAC and not it 'only' has those codecs. :)- marcusd
