    Tube Change/Biasing a Stax 006t II

Sorry to derail the thread a little bit, but it is partially connected: On a closer inspection I noticed that 4 220uF/400V Elna LAH caps may need replacing - their top is not ideally flat. According to Elna spec sheet those are 1.508 ESR/0.87A ripple current. When choosing a replacements...

    Tube Change/Biasing a Stax 006t II

Thanks for the great tutorial! I have just bought second hand 006tS with original tubes of unknown mileage, so I decided to replace 'em with a pair of matched NOS RCA's clear-tops (tubedepot). I followed the tutorial and I think I did it right, but since I'm new to Stax, can someone please...

Reply to review by 'Marcin Gomulkiewicz' on item 'Yamamoto HA-02'

I agree, HD600 did not sound well with HA-02, but I think it was a matter of an impedance mismatch. I've heard Audeze LCD-X with HA-02, and results were nice (very clear and colorful, though no Earth-shattering low end).
