A bit late, but I have both momentum and ath m50x. M50x has more bass, which seems to suit your taste . finding the sound stage a bit too small however. Doesn't leak noise as long as you don't put it on top of a later of hair. Momentum isolates noise more.

I just got this on the mail today ($209 AUD from eBay) and can confirm and they generally look much better in person than in photos. Not nearly as bright blue as some photos would suggest. Very pleasant to look at in fact, goes well with the brown.

Yes; I hear a very satisfying click, as well as trying to shake it lose with only the bottom drawer attached, but it's quite firmly lodged.   Are the fake ones supposed to just slide in smoothly without any sound whatsoever?
