I just received my H6 v2 today, and I'll be sending them to Zeos Pantera (Z reviews) for him to make a review on them sometime this month or next month.

The stock cable actually degrades the sound quality, which is why adequate cables like the replacement one they sell and the v-moda cable make the H6 sound better. As long as the cable you buy isn't crap, you should be good.

I went ahead and added the Beoplay H6 2nd gen to the list of headphones on the Head Gear section. If one of you guys have the H6 v2, a review would be very helpful as the H6 v2 is starting to gain popularity.

Sorry man, the deal only works if Bang & Olufsen is the seller, and they're all out now... Perhaps one of the folks in this thread can sell you an extra they got.

I also notice all the other beoplay products have this discount. I've never been a fan of their other headphones/bluetooth speakers, but perhaps one could buy a $540 beolit for around $250, then sell it for almost full price when the price lowers? Same goes for the H7, H8, etc.

They had no more black ones so I ordered a natural, it'll have to do. Oh well, that's $200 saved, thanks folks :)

I just went to the B&O store to test the H6 v1 and v2 side by side. I was in a very quiet environment, and I tested both headphones directly through my phone (keep in mind all my music is in FLAC). Also, feel free to go on youtube to listen to the music that I mention if you want to get a better...

You most likely did, the sliding adjustment on the H6 is actually the most refined I have ever used... If you got the headphones on Amazon you should contact the seller, and if you bought them from b&o they'll be happy to replace them

Definitely get a new cable if you're using the stock one, it's a peice of **** (the cable your link provided is great).  As for the amp/dac, the AudioQuest Dragonfly V1.2 is a great choice, especially if you're using a laptop. I would argue however, that the H6 sounds fine on its own, unless you...

But assuming that I take them outside, would tuning up the bass with an EQ suffice, or would it be better to buy a portable amp? I've heard that besides sound leak, the bass is also degraded by turning the volume up. In this case, perhaps a portable amp with bass boost would be the most...
