Foobar is good and powerful. And WASAPI is good. ASIO is also good. KS output is also good if you have supported device. You can download UI modified version of foobar if you like. I use shutter -- foobar for now.   Notice Developer of ASIO components said it will decrease sound quality...

I like sound using NFB 28 xlr cable connected to HS8 and HS8s subwoofer. Totally I need 4 xlr cables. The sound is very nice compared to very high end headphones. The volume can be controlled using universal remote to NFB 28. By the way the white version of HS8 is sexy!

Maybe x7 should comes with different capacity with sd card support. Just like iphones.

I have Titanium HD. If you are using PAX drivers, it is good for watch movie and gaming. Virtual surround is good and you can hear bullet right go over your ears. And it has professional audio interface for listening and creating music.

I have used NFB 28 for half year. Not a single problem occurs. Very nice product. I did one firmware and driver upgrade. Nice to pair with yamaha monitors set. Mainly use it to watch movies and listen music.

Calyx M seems to be a better implementation of ESS audio chip. But I found Koreans brand sold dap expensive to us.

I had PHA-2 cannot figure out difference to HPP1 when connected to ipod classic. So I sold it. I have heard zx1 did some tweaks with PHA-2 to produce better sound. Now I need to find another PHA-2 to try difference when connected to zx1.

At least it drives LCD2 and k3003 well. IE800 needs to change filter to sharp roll off. Cannot say it drives T1 well.
