Meze 99 Classics Discussion + Impressions Thread
I forget the name but had those pads The Sheepskin Brainwavz are what I use. The Dekoni Sheepskin is also very good from what others have said but they are $80, too much for me to justify vs the BW pads- Lurk650

EDIT: I was off, price of 99C was always $309. I feel like the Neo was $249 range but seems to be $199 now matching the Noir which is just the Classic with a different shell.- Lurk650

Have tried a bunch of tips on these and the AZLA Max (Standard) have been my favorite. Sounds great and no ear pressure.- Lurk650

Yes, clarity in the upper mids. Didn't notice much change else where. You MAY be able to glue back on but I'm not going to bother. Not sure of difference with SS other than they are thicker, which I prefer since I wear glasses. Meze pads is the interior ear opening size difference.- Lurk650

If you mean me, I've owned these since IDK 2018 or 19. Still love them. I posted last week that I removed the felt from the front of the driver and it improved the clarity even more (though YMMV). I've tried Meze Small and Large pads, Yaxi pads, Shure Alcantara. BW Sheepskin are my favorite. I...- Lurk650

I use the BW Sheepskin along with the Meze Copper 2.5 (though I run with an adapter Single Ended into my JDS Atom stack) for the most part.- Lurk650
