    SONY NW-ZX700

Sony has more breathing room for a lawsuit than any of the other Dap manufacturers who don't cap volume. So they should be least likely to do this. It doesn't add up.

    SONY NW-ZX700

A little history lesson: It was nearly 3M, reduced to 800k and then appealed, not 600k. The woman was in a parked car, not driving. The coffee burnt nearly 10% of her skin down to the tissue within seconds. It was served to her at nearly 200 degrees. Most restaurants do not serve coffee above...

    Modhouse Audio Argon - T50RP MK2/3 & T60RP

I looove the mk3 as well but may sell it soon to help fund the VC. I've never felt sad to move on from a headphone before, especially in pursuit of an "end-game," but I will surely miss the incredible comfort and versatility of the Argons.

The Deals DISCUSSION Thread (READ THE FIRST POST!!!)

Had to buy after reading the following review: "After roughly two weeks of trying ribcage them fit snug without hearing my ears they are an absolute win." When a pair of iems turn men to poets you can no longer deny their extraordinary ability to affect our understanding of reality.

If you still love Etymotic ER4, this is the thread for you...

Good to know, I assumed it was 1-year. Shot them an email. Hopefully the process will be painless.

If you still love Etymotic ER4, this is the thread for you...

Sound started to die on the right bullet of my er2xr and finally completely bit the dust today. Really disappointing for a 15 month old iem that's been babied and has maybe 60 hours on it. Would it kill ety to fix these cable issues that seem to be pretty common. Why are dirt-cheap chi-fi iems...

I have the same question. Anyone know?

Meze Audio LIRIC - The portable isodynamic hybrid array headphone

Complaints about glued-on pads are very common. You don't care, but others do. Perhaps you need to take a trip to the empathy store, eh? Believe it or not, your experience and corresponding opinion is not the only one that exists, or matters. Shocking, I know. In fact it hardly matters at all...

    DX240 DAP. DAC ES9038PRO - NEW: AMP8MK2S .****** NEW Firmware! 2.01 *******

Does anyone here have experience with both the m11 plus and the 240? I'm struggling to see what benefits I'd get with the latter over the former for the extra $200 or so. New to DAPworld so looking at spec sheets and reading a few reviews it seems they're roughly equal performers. Batt life...

Meze Audio LIRIC - The portable isodynamic hybrid array headphone

I saw that post already thanks. Nowhere in it is a reason why they had to use glued-on pads. This is particularly telling, however. The bold tells you that they know they've deliberately created a user-unfriendly product with a painful pad replacement procedure, and also that it is in fact...

Meze Audio LIRIC - The portable isodynamic hybrid array headphone

Of course I don't know, and in that way I am in the same boat as those rushing to their defense making, you guessed it, unfounded assumptions. Meze could simply explain why they chose to employ a method of attachment that is heavily disliked and could not develop one that was more...

Meze Audio LIRIC - The portable isodynamic hybrid array headphone

This is true of many headphones that don't have glued on pads. And funny, I used to hear the same argument about detachable cables. That somehow having one integrated unit was better for sound quality and a detachable cable could compromise that 😂 All I'm saying is that this is a clearly...

Meze Audio LIRIC - The portable isodynamic hybrid array headphone

There is no legitimate reason to believe that it would, unless the engineers at Meze are simply inferior to the ones at 99% of companies that have figured this out a long time ago. It is either a shortcut, or a money-driven maneuver. As such, it's a bit gross to see so many people flock like...

Meze Audio LIRIC - The portable isodynamic hybrid array headphone

What a thing to be triggered by  Year is not relevant to watches so somehow it isn't relevant to anything else? What a truly abysmal argument. Year is relevant here. Just like car manufacturing (funny you brought that up): % of accidents that are fatal is drastically lower now...

Meze Audio LIRIC - The portable isodynamic hybrid array headphone

Was stated earlier that expected lifespan of pads is 2 years. Given one needs to send them off or purchase a kit to replace them, it likely won't be cheap. It's a big enough bummer to X these off the list of TOTL closed backs I was considering. It's 2021, not 2001 -- there's no need to make...
