The Christiansen "DG" 300B Amplifier Build Thread
Sceleratus, I think it will look wonderful the way you intend. I would add though that if you are able to do it I did have a small idea that might be a nice touch. This is of course merely one mans opinion so feel free to disregard it, but I thought that if you are getting the...- LordShad0w

2012 Head-Fi Holiday Gift Exchange
I didn't think there was a limit for the suggested value of the gift exchanged, so I hope my partner is well pleased :) Looks like we had a decent turn out for this thing and it was a pleasure to take part. Merry Christmas Head-Fi !- LordShad0w

The Xonar Essence STX Q/A, tweaking, impressions thread

The Xonar Essence STX Q/A, tweaking, impressions thread
Have any of you tried the Muses chip that Asus is using for the Muse Edition inside of your Xonar Essence ST(X)? I was curious if it worked and how it sounded if it did. Thank you in advance :)- LordShad0w

What is the most comfortable headphones you've worn?
In my limited experience the Sennheiser HD 590's are almost like wearing nothing at all. Very light and comfortable for hours on end,- LordShad0w

Quote: The difference was just as marked between the Xonar and my Creative Fatality card with front panel and all the bells and whistles. It is simply a quality card. The DACs in it are great and it does everything I want. All I can tell you is what I hear. :) I would show you...- LordShad0w

Quote: I run the Asus Xonar Essence ST myself and I must say it truly IS a night and day difference from the onboard sound. Very clean and the built in amp is quite nice. I frequently use it to switch from low gain to mid gain when going from my HD280's to my HD590's and it works just...- LordShad0w
