The most relaxing, ultimate chill-out headphones I've heard are the LFF Enigma. They're still very neutral and accurate, but there's something truly special about what they do with the sound. But at the same time they aren't closed in like you're describing. More like bathing in a heated pool...

Pulling a bit of threadomancy here... It cannot be overstated how incredibly these headphones scale with a powerful source. I just picked up an old Singlepower Supra and my Sig Pros are singing. Not that they sound bad out of a phone, but with a good amp these come alive. I can't wait to try...

I'm very curious about the Pandora VI comparison. I've heard some contradictory impressions compared to the Ultrasone Signatures.

It doesn't look related to me. I ran across the CMA600 while Googling for the new model, and it looks like an extremely different beast. It's also interesting to me that the 600i is actually larger than the 800R (and I assume the 800i?).

Do you mean that it uses something less expensive than the WM8741? Or a different implementation? Because the 8741 is only like 20 USD by itself... Unless there are different variants. You'll have to excuse me, I'm a layman when it comes to this kind of stuff.
