Yeah I also noticed that they were extremely fragile even when compared to cheaper IEMs.  This is why I use the clamshell case every chance I get.  But if the cables were thicker, there would be more cable noise so I guess this is the balance between cable noise and fragility that they chose. 

There was one point when I was burning in mine when I noticed a low hum but then I realised it only happened when it was being charged.  Looks like you'll need return it though because from the sounds of it, yours have a defect. 

I bought these (exact model) for $20 including delivery about a year ago from an authorise Logitech reseller so I wouldn't think they were fakes at that price. I wouldn't even know why people bother making fakes for these low quality IEMs.

Received my V2 today.  It was sent on the 5th to singpost. On the 7th, singpost posted it to Australia and today is the 17th, so 12 days in total.    Box was a bit banged up but that's okay. Right now I'm just glad I got it since the tracking didn't work on the Auspost site.
