Woah really? I purchased a used Purple Heart LCD-XC a while back but didn't know they were that rare. 

+1 Sound output on all my Apple devices are great. You should just spend the money on getting custom sleeves, that would improve the sound much more. 

Interesting, was considering the Bifrost with my (sold) Lyr, but what do you know the difference between feeding the Moljonir balanced vs SE? 

I sold my old DAC but can't find a Gungnir to purchase so there's no audio source. Also my Audeze Balanced cable didn't come yet. 

Anybody looking to sell their Gungnir? Looking to purchase one to pair with my Mjolnir collecting dust on my table. 

Interesting - but it seems to be a DAC + Amp combo? It would probably be a better bang for the buck just to get a DAC right? 

What is a good DAC pairing with the Mjolnir at around $500? I can't find a used Gungnir for sale at a reasonable price (I'm buying if you are selling), so any other recommendations?

Does anybody have a solution for discomfort with the headband? The Audeze lambskin pads are awesome and feel amazing, but their headband game just doesn't work very well with my head.    After 30-60mins of wearing them I kind of feel like the XCs are pulling on my hair (I'm male). I heard...

  I drive them out of my iPhone 6 and 2014 rMBP and it works quite well. The iPhone 6 has some occasional buzz in the output but it sounds fine and rMBP has a hint of white noise, but again hard to recognizing when playing music even at low levels (usually only use 1/10 speaker bar).

Can I drive the Audeze LCD-XC with the Schiit Fulla? Currently using the Schiit Lyr, but looking for something to use with my Macbook on the move. 

Just got word that they won't be doing the XC's for $999 again so don't hold your breath for it.
