Tried the K 450 and was disappointed. Compared with the K 26 P a bit better in the mids and highs, but the same overblown bottom end. Lots more comfortable than the K 26/414. Definitely not worth the German price of EUR 99.

Better call them by phone + 49 7131 617 0. Don't know if they speak english, but they are very friendly. I was told, that the material for manufacturing the genuine leather pads is not available yet and is expected for january 2006. The leather pads will also be suitable for the "old" DT 880...

I'm 29, listening to almost everything non-classical (except hip-hop and German "Schlager"). and imho the dt880 is the best allrounder i've heard until now. 1990: RFT HOK 80 (heavy built, GDR-made isodynamic phones for speaker outputs. Sorry, no pictures available) 1991: Sony MDR-CD 350...

...but I think it's hard to get even on eBay.
