So what I'm thinking is getting the Adcom GFA 535 -- I've seen them go for cheap -- and then using my Benchmark DAC 1 as the preamp + DAC, and then using the transformer like the SRD7 to plug in the Lambdas. Would this work well?

I am interested in either one of these headphones for  portable use. I mainly listen to classical music and my source will be my iPhone 4 with lossless files. Which is better for this genre?

Knowing how whiny people are in my study hall, I do not think I should take the Grado's. They will probably leak too much noise. Mods can you close this thread?
