All of you having Iphone headphone woes Easy Solution in here

Just an update: I took a utility knife to my er6i's this afternoon and cut off the jack by accident. j/k, actually it was a simple procedure that only took a few mins. I just removed the plastic ring at the base of the jack. With those extra 2mms it now it fits perfectly in the iphone. This...

Anyone try this with an er6? Since it's an L-shaped jack I'm not sure its possible to shave enough of the plastic off without damaging it. If so post pics.

Yup my problem was the filters. I changed them on both sides and the difference is amazing.

    er-6i reliability?

The right side on my er6i's just died yesterday after only 3 months. I don't think it was a wire issue since it still outputs some audio and I NEVER remove by pulling on the wire. I use them alot, at least 6 hours a day. When they're not in my ears they're wrapped and sitting on my desk waiting...

IEMs and citylife. Are there many dangers from sonic isolation?

I do it all the time. It's MUCH less dangerous than walking around talking on your cell phone.

    Best Encoded Audio?

here's the LAME 3.97 man page: http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux...-3.97/man.html It looks like -b and -B will constrain the VBR. Anyone ever play with -q? Also, does anyone else listen to streaming radio and have any suggestions for getting the best content?
