The Schiit Lyr can do 6 watts into 32 ohms, from what I have heard it is powerful enough. Would the HE-500 be a better choice? I can't find a direct comparison between the two, except small bits tacked onto reviews.

I am planning on buying a HE-6 in a few weeks. Where is the best place to buy it (US)? And can the price be negotiated or is it $1300 everywhere?

Just used deoxit and dielectric silicon grease on the T50 headphone connection. It completely fixed it cutting out and switching between L/R channels. If your plug is sensitive I highly recommend doing this. Also, it works on most other sensitive plugs, I would try it on any headphone that cuts out.

I want some better pads for my T50RPs. I got the Shure pads, but they don't fit very well and ripped a bit when putting them on. I also want a pretty think pad. How are the J-Money pads (http://www.jmoneyaudio.com/)? Which one would fit best on the T50RP? The O2 pads are too expensive for me...
