I've tried to be careful with my Clip, but I have dropped it a couple of times.....had it fall out of the car as I was getting out, and bounce on the asphalt below. Only thing that happened was it got a few little nicks on the plastic casing. I've also had the Clip pulled loose from my clothing...

Id say it's too heavy to clip to clothing, although I guess we need to know what type clip you'd use. Perhaps a case or holster that clips to your waste-band should be sufficient enough. IMO, an armband case would be best for running...   But if you're planning to use the DAP for jogging or...

Both my Fuze and Clip are similar enough to my ears as to have the same SQ, for all intents and purposes..

The ZEN does not integrate the music on it's SDHC cards with the music on its' internal memory, so that the user can browse, sort, make playlists from, etc. all at once. You do these things with the library for the internal memory, then select a different menu for the card, and then do those...
