If the "requires a certain cable angle to work" is about the removable cable then getting a replacement cable will do the work. But any issues other than that will be a pain, dont even try to disassemble the headphone u'll most likely destroy it because of how they're put together- KThife

Hifiman Ananda Had to remove the fabric that's covering the front and back of the drivers. Don't mind the ugly stuff around the edge of the drivers, it's the tape that's used to stick the fabric on Bad paint job. Sorry for the poor pics- KThife

After posting that, i noticed that my t20 v2 (also known as t20rp v1... Confusion ) have different wires that connects the drivers and also slightly different magnet structure from ur's. This is my t20 v2 Hmmmmmmm- KThife

Owo how did u separate the magnets from the diaphragm? Does the magnet just slide out from the housing? I was scared to do anything with them but i wanted to align the holes of both of the magnets- KThife

I guess that's how Hifiman designed the he4xx to set them apart from their other more expensive models. And for the puncture.. Long story short, but it's from my accidental slip of hand and a metal tweezer... Gud thing there's no trances in that area. It still works normally and i don't hear...- KThife
