So got a mildly used Sansa Clip for chump change today, connected the E5, turned on bass boost, plugged in my PK2s, turned on some bass-heavy hip-hop and... ...am I hearing some real punchy bass on my PK2s? *eargasm*

Well, today my recently-arrived E5 and my 8GB CF-modded iPod mini had an encounter with the washing machine. The E5 survived! The Mini itself didn't, but the CF card in it still works perfectly.

I can't beleive I'm saying this but I like my iFlash mini with the FiiO F3 more than with my Corda 2Move. It's true that the mini's hp out is crap, however it gets much better with higher impedance stuff (and hey, the FiiO is an amp after all, doesn't get any higher than that!). The bass...

so with the volume control, it can be used from line-out, right?

The iPod minis headphone jack are commonly regarded as one of the worst, ever. And really, the SQ thru the hp jack is just damn awful, especially the bass. However, the line-out of the mini is great; I highly suggest to you to get a portable amp (you can already get one around $50-$100) with...

Honestly I do think the PK2s get better with an amp (using them with my Corda 2Move since like 2 weeks), albeit not much, but it is noticeable.

Yaaaaay. Batteries finally arrived! *tears of joy* Popped it in to a 2G mini (it was kinda hard to put it together -- the battery is thicker than the original one. But it worked.), charging it now. Gonna rockbox it soon.
