@mrspeakers Is there a way to fix this without sending them back for repair/replacement? The shaft/pin is so loose that it can be pulled out without any force. This a brand new pair of Ether CX btw.

Are you sure it is plastic? Highly doubt it.

They have shaved off some weight with the introduction of the new drivers.

For those of you that have a FA-12 how is the heat output? Is it really warm to the touch or just above room temperature?

The T5 gen 3 does not punch above it's weight class. I have no idea how you can come to that conclusion. I have a pair of Focal Celestee, Aeon 2 Noire and used to own a pair of T5 gen 3. The T5 gen 3 are on par with the Celestee and Aeon 2 Noire at best.

It also had the most impractical color scheme ever. Light grey pads and headband is not going to stay light grey.

I have both the Focal Celestee and the Aeon 2 Closed (Noire version, but with Dekoni leather pads) Aeon 2 is more bassy, worse dynamics, detail retrieval seems about the same hard to quantify.
