UE10PRO and EQ
Hehe. All phones can produce any frequency you want, but with different sound pressure levels. Electronics standards predicts frequency range to be determined by substraction 3 decibels from highest sound pressure level (at some frequency) value in decibels. Frequencies, SPL levels of which =...- KPOT

UE10PRO flat frequency response
I've made impulse file for FOOBAR2000 convolver. So you can enjoy music with absolutely flat frequency response (+-0.1dB). Just open foobar2000 preferences and add convolver to list of used plug-ins Then go to convolver properties and choose my file If you haven't installed...- KPOT

helpppp "Ultimate Ear" or "Sensaphonics" or "Westone"
You should try westones. Only es3 uses 3 drivers to cover all frequency range (one driver for bass, one for mids and one for highs). Both UEs and SENSAPHONICs use 2 bass drivers and one for mids and highs.- KPOT

UM2 Cable Turns GREEN
I have '64 and '46 cables. All of em turned green. (I've used '46 cable for only two weeks.) '46 cable was exposed to light. I think polymer has changed structure with help of UV light.- KPOT

My letter to Ultimate Ears
dmt1, armature drivers designed not to be damaged with high impact impulse. There are 2 things driver can be damaged with: 1. Very strong current; 2. Foreign matter; UE10PROs have interesting electric schematics: high-end driver receives the greater voltage, so it will be damaged first...- KPOT

dmt1, it's unbelievable! Drivers have protection! You can only deform voice-coil (it can melt with the help of high-tension current). Only this thing can kill driver...- KPOT
