    Matrix Mini-i Balanced DAC+HP amp

    Hey guys! I m looking for a dac/amp to connect my monitors and headphones -hd650 almost on the way - and to be able to control the volume on both -not simultaneously-. Will the mini-i be ok for this?

    I thought the stx ii had 2x 8820/8920/49720? I m looking for a small and cheap upgrade -if any by using 3x same opamps-. I ve read the last 30 page of that thread, too many options drive me crazy!! =)

    Any idea how 3x8920 or 3xlme49720 would sound? I am interested in both cards but I don't want to spend another 150€ for opamps...maybe a 3rd 8920/49720 hence the question =)
