Taken the Plunge too! Reading that the new ones should measure like BGGAR's version along with a stressful day which made me need some retail therapy... Mega5est on the way!- Knee Deep In Epoxy

I'll probably get there but would like to see more reviews of the new version. A review by @Resolve would be good as he seems hard to please 🤣- Knee Deep In Epoxy

Very good to know that the tuning nhas changed. It's not very clear from the naming. Thank you. BGGAR reviewed it recently and his graph is the most different to the oracle in the upper frequencies but very similar in the bass... So the "new" M5E should actually be quite warm compared to the...- Knee Deep In Epoxy

As someone who owns the Prestige LTD and a load of other non-EST sets, I don't know why I'm considering splashing out another USD500+ on the M5E.... We'll actually the idea of getting the Oracle OG brought me here. I'm curious about the oracle OG but i don't feel like getting another...- Knee Deep In Epoxy

I'm a bit confused as to why people say the Arium has "coloured" rather that neutral or accurate sound. It has one of the most the most natural and controlled timbres I've heard. What's more "accurate" than that? The one area where it is "enhanced" is in its staging (addictive)... But I don't...- Knee Deep In Epoxy

How I get the most out of my a5000. Divinus Velvet tips, size M instead of my usual ML, and pushed them in as deep as poss to reduce the distance from my eardrum to the nozzle while having a perfect seal. In short it sounds like the frequency response has been tilted slightly clockwise. More...- Knee Deep In Epoxy

Thanks for the write up. I'm throwing a vote for Divinus Velvet tips into the hat for the Prestige LTD and the Hype 4. Perfect seal and stability and comfort for with excellence clarity across the spectrum.- Knee Deep In Epoxy

ZMF Atrium - new open-back co-flagship
Waiting in anticipation. I went back to the stock mesh for a few days but quickly found myself missing the slight extra brightness of the radial mesh.... this morning as I scramble on and try to complete some urgent work (other than being on a Head-fi forum of course), I'm taming the bass...- Knee Deep In Epoxy

Do you prefer the ER2XR with brown or white filters? I have the ER2SE and XR and the ER4SR and XR. You've prompted me to FINALLY play around with the filters. I have kept the ER2SE and the ER4SR stock as references... I mean that's what they are for right? I tried the ER2SE with brown...- Knee Deep In Epoxy

Gosh I love these Headphones. I've been listening to a lot of IEMs lately so they have had less time on my head recently. But I think the time I've spent with IEMs has enabled me to better appreciate the thinner pads. Today I switched back from the radial mesh to the stock mesh because I...- Knee Deep In Epoxy

Still evaluating the Hype 4... But some comments on my unit: Heavy bass thump. Doesn't bleed into the kids, but could do with more detail and textures. Still, very enjoyable. Mids and Highs TBC Great depth in the headstage when a proper seal is achieved. Even though they are not the biggest...- Knee Deep In Epoxy
