Thanks - this is all super helpful. My headphones sound outstanding, I sure can't detect anything wrong with them. I'm just gonna assume it was the minor glue issue and enjoy rocking out to these moving forward!- klwalton33

Thanks for sharing, that's super helpful. Well as feared, mine is a Gibson. I pulled the earpads off and I do have some glue residue. BUT - as far as I can tell the headphones sound great. Would it be clearly obvious if something were wrong with them? I assume that's the case, but...- klwalton33

I just received my set from Amazon Warehouse Deals today. Is there a quick way of determining if these were manufactured by WOOX or Gibson? I believe the Gibson ones were the ones with the issues, correct?- klwalton33

Sweet, that's good to know. So there should be *nothing* wrong with the actual headphones as far as sound quality? I'm really looking forward to these! After a ton of research and comparisons I feel like these are the right ones for me!- klwalton33
