i mainly drive the phi via burson conductor 3xp and my experience is the complete opposite than "consider it dosent have a wide soundstage. The Sound is on the small side. Also the Bass is not that impressive." bass is the most impressive thing about Diana imo.

No lie, i had a REALLY bad case of tinnitus a few weeks ago after switching out my Auteur Hybrids for the lambskins (was feeling adventerous) - for some reason ZMF cans with the lambs or Hifiman planars make my tinnitus go wild. anyway, I got the abyss diana phi a couple weeks ago and i swear...

i remember having the HE-400i and the 660s (used) early on in my headphone love affair along with a Loxjie tube amp and an ifi nano BL and thinking, 'can it really get better than this?' i think i would have made it if i'd stopped watching Zeos Pantera but then he had to go and start gushing...

Very nice some dinner reading :). Very interested to see Headfonics findings on this one. I have the Phi and I love it - I want to see if the MR might be a good compliment.

Great transaction, more than a gentleman and went the extra mile. Received my headphones in a couple days, packaged nicely. Couldn't have gone more smoothly, would buy again!

zeos compared the sound of the d9200's to how one of the anime girls on one of his wallpaper was dressed......like what dude? anyway, this thread inspired me to break out the 660S again and man, the dark voice can make any pair sing!!

when i received my atticus i could not get over the warmth of the stock pads; it sounded so weird to my ears. i was almost regretting my purchase but then put on the eikon suedes and all was right with the world so i completely understand! great decision btw!

lol i could wear my aeolus for an entire day - no joke. ESPECIALLY after an entire 48 hours of wearing the LCD-2F lol even auteur is kind of a beast w/ out the pilot pad.

what is your basis for, 'love,'? 660S are widely seen as great headphones overshadowed by cheaper, 'close enough,' brethren. I've never seen its prowess as a headphone called into question, myself.

still on the lcd-2fs this morning but it's a sevendust-fest! 789 wins out; i usually prefer tubes but the lcd sounds way better from a solid state
