you don't need root/exploits to just install an APK though. unless they've completely removed permissions from adb, it should still be possible to push the apk and install it (as well as a launcher).

Yes. I've tried all the way in, out, and in between for at least an hour moving the MAM in small increments. I pick one setting for a commute and stick to it and change afterwards.

However, I have this issue regardless of the setting; nothing is solved with adjustments. With a high heart rate, I can actually hear the flop mimicking my pulse. 

I'm fairly confident that the module removal issue is the IEM acrylic itself.   I can't solve the wind noise by having it at any setting though, which is bothersome.

Well... I thought I spent $200 on a manual module in an attempt to achieve the same signatures as all of the auto modules, yet it has extra baggage that was unanticipated and renders it useless. I have no doubt that other modules achieve what I like about the MAM signatures.
