Just received my IE80s from bhphoto and they do seem to be a tad veiled, compared to my se535 reds. They do sound fun to listen to though, and I think I would keep them as a complement.

Anyone has any impressions on the AD1000X and/or AD2000X?

I've both the HD600 & D600, and I certainly think the 2 of them complement each other very well.   Cheers~

Ran my PSB M4U 2 in passive mode in conjunction with ODAC/O2, the volume control on the O2 fully controls the volume. No need to run in amp mode.   Gonna be flying next friday, will post the ANC capabilities in real flight experience.

No offence if I'm seen as deviating from the thread's topic but I would like to ask the Dx000 owners whether you experience any loosening of the headband screw which attaches the ear pad to the headband?   Read that it is a common problem on head-fi, though you maybe able to diy the problem...
