I’m seeing this written on Reddit, too. Is the volume lower using Bluetooth or the dongle (or both)? Holding off on updating until we have more reports.

Lots of complaints on the Audeze Reddit as well. Hard to imagine why they’d tinker with the DSP profile this far outside of release. The volume limitation is also troubling. Hopefully we will get an official response soon.

The white (limited edition) X7 has a lower impedence level for the headphone jack, in addition to a different power brick. Probably only matters if you’re using the X7 to drive IEMs. Hope this helps.

I ordered 10/4/20. I have asked Audeze for a prepaid label. While I understand that things happen, considering there is no ability to cancel an order directly on the website, I am disappointed that my request was not able to be honored before shipping.

You’re telling me. Early impressions led me to request cancellation. Before my request was granted, the order shipped. Very frustrating.

I was not aware of the lack of iOS app when I preordered these. Big time disappointment on that front.
