I can't say for sure but I do know that the Fiio LC-4 4D 4.4 is more in line with the components you have.

Now shut off all to DSD, that eats up your battery more than anything

I don't think that's a stretch. The M11Pro is, IMO, the better overall DAP but I still listened to the original X7 with the balanced module right up to purchasing the pro. Even that sounded quite good.

Qobuz, is available in the Fiio Market Place. I installed Quobuz in less than a minute and it works fine.

I would like to connect the m11p to my receiver without using rca cables (which I'm using now) any suggestions would be appreciated. SPDIF or Coax?

Anyone know if I can connect the M11p to my amplifier (desktop) via SPDIF terminating in 3.5? I have a optical and a coax available on the amp. I'm trying to avoid RCA. If RCA is my only option does anyone know of a quality RCA cable?

I agree, I wasn't speaking to quality but the statement that the bass was much stronger with the VModa. Of course it is.

Me either, I've been using it the last few days and all's well. BTW, here in the states they're doing a 14.95 a month deal and a free month to try it. (Studio Premier)
