Does anyone have any experience with the Acoustic revive RTP 4EU Absolute? It is quite a lot more expensive.

Has anyone compared DAVE to Aqua Formula or APL DSD SR dacs? I am considering these two dacs with their respective streamers and was wondering if I’d loose out on DAVEs transients, airiness and transparency. Probably. Hmm.

Would you rather invest in a new K22, a Muon Pro ethernet cable and a Puritan 156? Or for a little more money in a K50 or Oladra second hand? M Roon server is on a Intel NUC, and my cables would be 20€ stock cables. In both cases I’d be broke :). See the rest of my chain in my sig.

Yes, I like to use Roon and don’t consider alternatives. It’s great to hear you like the K22. It seems like a sweetspot in the lineup. I will consider a home demo.

I am considering an antipodes streamer. It would replace my Auralic streamer. Roon rock runs on an Intel NUC. I would like to hear your thoughts on my mental predicament I have with owning an server/streamer all in one. I like to use ARC on holidays, and my kids use an iPad as a Roon endpoint...

I would have loved to audition the Soundkaos. All reviews are really promising. Plus I find they look really great. But it wasn’t possible to demo them anywhere in my country (Germany). And restocking fees with them was quite too much. Now I am enjoying AN K Spe.

I have been considering a Muon Pro for cleaning the Ethernet, but I have also reading some crazy DIY forums on ferrites on Ethernet cables. Not sure yet if this is all a total waste of time or can be beneficial.

Quick question: does the Immamis converter box need a power supply or is it passive? I may order one one day, and I am in the process of ordering a power distributor (puritan) and need to calculate how many outlets :) haha.

Welcome to the club! Over the past two years I have questioned my DAC, streamer, server, speakers, room and HP, but never my AIC. It is just a really great amplifier. Highly recommended.

Great system congratulations. Audio Note, Cube Audio Nenuphar standmounts, Devilles, Devore, many options. Mostly anything with sensitivity over 90db should be a treat.

I am curious what you all think about organizing a library. Do you stream only, or do you buy digital albums? I use Roon and every once in a while I ask myself if I should buy the albums that I have been listening lately over streaming qobuz -> roon. But I am much less attached to albums I buy...

I just switched back from my Mullard CV 4003 to my Tesla ECC 802 S after several month and it is quite a revelation. More transparent, brighter, airier. I didn’t remember such a contrast the last time I changed the tube. Great, it almost feels like a new amp :).
