If you find a good deal, definitely go for it. I didn't regret getting the 1z and I will keep both since I love Sony's sound signature. What I believe is that sound wise, 1Z is not 2.8 better than 1A comparing their retail prices back in 2016.

I just purchased the wm1z and having already the wm1a which I love I can't hear much of a difference to be honest.

I was searching a dap stand for quite some time and could not find one that fits any other device not being phone/tablet. It seems solid and considering you are using it with the zm2 it will probably hold almost any other dap. I hope it justifies its price in time. Great find Bastian, thanks!
