Could it be that the database is set to automaticaly update itself on each boot? You may want to check the Database settings or ask in #rockbox on irc.freenode.net- kakazza

Btw. I heard that since rockbox isn't as efficient as the Apple OS, you could use Musepack (.mpc) instead of MP3 because it requires less decoding power from the CPU. Link: #rockbox 2008-03-31 Vikingbox, please use .png for graphs like that. JPEG artifacts make my eyes bleed- kakazza
