The one thing Yaxi does better then Koss is the pouch. The pouch Koss supplies is too small. The pouch from Yaxi is roomy. It's so much better then the Koss pouch. The other problem is that the shipping (to the UK) cost of these pads is also has much as the Porta Pros.

If you want to tame the bass of the PortaPro and improve the high end, get some Yaxi pads.

I've heard the Grado SR80 and I find them to be way too bright and harsh. The Koss PortaPro with Yaxi pads sound better to me.

I'm using the Koss Porta Pro with Yaxi pads. Highly recommended.

I just bought some Yaxi pads from Yaxi direct. They do feel much more comfortable and sound better.

Sounds better then the other with a fairly neutral headphone.

I'm looking at similar USB-C DAC cables to use with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. The simple cables. SO the DAC will make a difference as the cables are similar.

Why would FIIO put in a USB-C port? That would make it incompatible with the K5.
