All the devices I've tried on has the same problem. Will Logitech even replace these? They are discontinued now and I bought them on Amazon.

Anyone that owns these have the problem where the cord doesn't go in all the way without lots of force/ twisting? After pushing it in all the way, the left ears audio is slightly quieter than the right sides on mine. How can I fix this?

I know a DAC will give me better audio quality, but will it also improve my mic like a sound card would? The mic I am using is a Zalman ZM-Mic1, which definitely needs some upgrades in the sound quality. I'm deciding between the Xonar DGX and the Fiio E10K.

Sadly, I'm using Beats Solos right now...(got them as a gift). I know that they are supposed to be bass-heavy. I'm just a newbie, so how do I listen for highs, mids, and lows. Are there examples of them I can hear? 

I would say between neutral and bass heavy, if that is a thing.

Bought these for my first quality headphones (I've owned Skullcandy Hesh and Beats Solo in the past...). Can't wait for these to come in! I got the white version off of Amazon. I have a question though, are these or the M50's better for hip hop, R&B and gaming?

I'm new to this forum and high quality audio. I don't have any room on my motherboard for a dedicated sound card. How can I improve the sound and mic quality for under $50 without buying new speakers, headphones, and mic?
