Yes, it is too big to be truly portable. If you want to carry it around, the nano might be the better choice. It will still work well with the DT150s, but is more limiting when it comes to power hungry headphones or sensitive IEMs.

I'm using this combination in my living room, so I don't have to listen to TV. I would say those two are working very well together, the micro adjust nicely to different headphones or IEM's anyway. I like the micro much better than the nano I was using before. And I can use my sensitive IEM's...
